Classic poetry. An unsettling assignment. A lighthouse full of secrets

Welcome to Midnight Poetry, a collection of spooky classic verse for brave-hearted listeners ages 8–12.

Somewhere on the Oregon coast, a haunted lighthouse holds a poet, his stories, and a few things best left undisturbed. Our brave reporter Chip Lamont arrives to interview the mysterious poet, V. B. Jones, but as the poems unfold, his assignment takes an increasingly unsettling turn.

Inspired by the atmosphere of the golden age of old-timey radio, Midnight Poetry weaves classic verse into a supernatural original tale. Brandon Miller’s narration and audio production bring this weirdly wonderful world to life through expressive character performances, eerie sound effects, and moments of unexpected humor.

Encounter the haunting words of Edgar Allan Poe, Emily Dickinson, Mary Elizabeth Coleridge, and more, alongside Philip Graham’s original poem, “Dorothy Good.” Created for listeners ages 8–12, this is an invitation for families to discover the beauty, sorrow, and suspense of poetry together, all while paying homage to the spookiest of seasons.

Grab your flashlight. Settle in. Listen closely. These dead poets still have plenty to say.
